Booking time

You may significantly speed up the handling of your visa application if you make an advance appointment with the Embassy.

Applicants who submit their application electronically through the Application Portal, will automatically be asked to book an appointment in order to submit their cover letter in person with original signature, supporting documents and passport to the Embassy. The Embassy staff may also ask questions or interview the applicant in order to further clarify the purpose of the visit or gain other information which is necessary for a correct and speedy handling of the application.

Visa applicants who wish to submit their application on paper should book an appointment by phone: +380 44 5900 470 #2 between 1400 and 1600. This will prevent unnecessary queuing at the Embassy and reduces the risk of not being able to submit the application in person.

All applicants for work/residence or study permits must similarly contact the Embassy by phone +380 44 5900 470 #2 between 1400-1600 in order to make an appointment when to arrive at the Embassy and submit the application.

Applicants appearing at the visa section without an advance appointment can not expect to be granted a drop-in appointment. The visa section is usually fully booked several days in advance, sometimes up to a month. You are thus advised to make your appointment well in advance of your travel.
