The fee for short-stay visa for Ukraine, Russia and Moldova citizens is EUR 35. For Belarus citizens and other nationals who need visa the fee is EUR 60.
Fees are paid online by credit card.

Waived fees
The following categories are exempted from fee when submitting application for Schengen Visa (short-stay visa):
- Spouses, children and dependant ascendants of all EU/EEA nationals (family members of EU/EEA nationals have to present documentation to prove this relationship). Stepchildren of EU/EEA citizens are not exempted from visa fee;
- Children under 6 years;
- School pupils, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose of study or educational training;
- Researchers from the third countries travelling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research as defined in Recommendation № 2005/461/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research;
- Representatives of non-profit organizations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organised by non-profit organizations.
The following categories are exempted from fee for submitting application for residence permit in Norway
– Children under the age of 18 at the time the application is submitted;
– All EU/EEA nationals.
Please inform the embassy staff if you are entitled to exemption from payment of visa or residence permit fee and present documentation to prove this. If you are entitled to waived visa fee, the fee you paid at the Application Portal will be refunded by the Embassy.
If you belong to the group "other nationals" you need to fulfill the following criteria. A foreigner must have a valid permit in another country then his/her country of residence, have right to return to the country of residence. The return to the country of residence must be valid at least 3 months longer than the validity of the short-stay visitor visa, cf. section 3-4a third paragraph of the immigration Regulation).
Persons not residing (without a valid Ukrainian residence/work/study permit) in Ukraine must justify the reason for applying at the Norwegian Embassy in Kiev, and not in their country of residence/origin.
