Norway does not have a diplomatic mission in Belarus. The Norwegian Embassy in Kiev is thus accredited to Belarus.
Belarusian citizens who want to apply for a short term visitors visa to Norway are requested to lodge the application at the French Embassy in Minsk. The applications will be handled in accordance with French/Schengen rules. The Norwegian Embassy in Kiev is not involved in the French Embassy's processing of visas. Should the French Embassy not be able to issue a visa, a formal rejection will not be given to the applicant. The Belarusian applicant will be informed that he/she may lodge a new visa application at the Norwegian Embassy in Kiev.
