When Henrik Ibsen died, he left behind him a great many works in the form of pictorial art: landscape paintings, cartoons, stage and costume sketches, and many more. In co-operation with Erik Henning Edvardsen at the Ibsen Museum in Oslo, ibsen.net has produced a database of all these works. These works of pictorial art are now for the first time being made available to the public in their entirety. The number of works is 136, and all are shown as digital reproductions with the exception of 16 works that have been mislaid or permanently lost (these are nevertheless included in the database with all available documentation).
The database has been placed on the Norwegian pages of ibsen.net. Comments on and other text relating to the pictures have not been translated.
